A local ER doctor is hoping to hold a new world record in weightlifting. Dr. Khashayar Farzam is an emergency room doctor at both Grand River and St. Mary’s General Hospitals. After being inspired by a fellow gym member, Dr. Farzam is trying to break a Guinness World Record for lifting the most weight in 30 seconds.
