Dr. Neil Naik
On Board Since
Dr. Neil Naik practices family medicine in Waterloo, Ontario where he teaches family medicine and office management to medical students as an Assistant Clinical Professor at McMaster University. Dr. Naik grew up in the GTA and studied medicine at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He completed his residency in both urban Newfoundland and rural Nunavut, and further enhanced his education with an elective at OntarioMD on Health Informatics and Leadership. He is heavily involved with the community's health care system, taking on his newest endeavour as Interim Regional Primary Care Lead for the Waterloo Wellington Regional Screening and Cancer Program.
Bobby Thompson

Bobby Thompson joined the Board of Governors in 2019. He is a Senior Manager in the Assurance practice at EY, focused on providing audit and advisory services to Canadian and global financial institutions. He holds the professional designations of Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst. Bobby is proud to be a part of the community and giving back to the hospital. Prior to joining the Board he was President of the Board of Directors for the Grand River Hospital Volunteer Association. Ron Gagnon

Tobi Day-Hamilton

Tobi Day-Hamilton joined the Board of Governors in 2018 and is a member of the Marketing and Communications Committee. She is a passionate advocate for education and engagement. In her role as Director Strategic Initiatives at the University of Waterloo, Tobi leads strategic planning and implementation for Waterloo’s research and innovation endeavours. She is also co-founder and Executive Director of LAUNCH Waterloo, an organization dedicated to inspiring young people to explore STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math). Bruce Brown

Bruce Brown joined the Board of Governors in 2018 and is a member of the Marketing and Communications Committee. He has more than 25 years of experience in brand development and marketing with medical and hardware technology companies. From 2001 to 2017 Bruce was the Vice President of Global Marketing at Unitron, a Kitchener-based company and a leader in the global hearing instrument industry. He now works independently assisting local companies with marketing and branding strategy, as well as contributing his time assisting non-profit organizations.
