Previously, he served as the Associate Director of the Schlegel Centre for Entrepreneurship & Social Innovation at Laurier, helping students and alumni build and grow successful ventures. Brandon is a graduate of the MBA program from Laurier, specializing in strategic management. He is a dedicated volunteer, serving as President of the Grand River Hospital Volunteer Association and Vice-Chair of the Downtown Kitchener Action & Advisory Committee.
With the Volunteer Resources department function moving over to the Foundation, an idea to invite the role of President of the Grand River Hospital Volunteer Association to join the Board took shape. This also aligns with the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation and many other Foundations in Ontario.
The Grand River Hospital Volunteer Association has donated more than $2,800,000 since 2004 and has been a great partner of the Foundation. They own and operate the 2 Tim Hortons and 2 Gift shops at the KW campus and Freeport Campus. Our most recent innovation with them was the Coffee Coin and Foonie that helps us, help them which helps us. :)
