Donor Gift & Purchase Processor

Donor Gift & Purchase Processor

Donor Gift & Purchase Processor

In 1893, when our community was in need of a genuine advance of medical care and had a burgeoning population; our cause began. The Seagram family stepped forward and offered 95 acres of land if and only if the citizens would fully fund the Hospital before the first brick or beam was laid. The citizens responded with a roar.

Kitchener (then known as Berlin) and Waterloo rallied the community and raised $8,000 from subscribers ranging in size from 25 cents to 50 dollars.  Together in 1895 our predecessors built what has become Grand River Hospital out of their generosity, philanthropy and belief in each other and this remarkable place.

We are seeking to build on this incredible history and change health philanthropy once again. We are seeking an individual to be our Donor Gift and Purchase Processor and help support our Operations Team with donation data entry using a variety of both direct mail and online resources.  This role will involve, but not be limited to: helping to manage our donor database; fielding telephone calls; running reports and creating spreadsheets; filing. We want you to be a part of our team as we continue to support the Hospital’s mission in providing exceptional world-class health care.  We hope that’s you.
