Expanding the ICU by adding four additional beds is essential to address the growing demand for critical care services and to enhance the hospital’s capacity to provide timely and effective treatment for critically ill patients. With increasing patient admissions and the complexity of conditions requiring intensive care, the current ICU facilities often face overcrowding, leading to potential delays in providing necessary care. By expanding the ICU, the hospital can ensure that more patients receive immediate attention, particularly during peak times such as seasonal flu outbreaks, pandemics, or emergencies. This expansion will help to reduce wait times for ICU admission, minimize the risk of adverse outcomes due to delayed care, and improve the overall efficiency and responsiveness of the critical care team.

Additionally, expanding the ICU with four more beds will allow the hospital to better manage and allocate resources, ultimately enhancing patient outcomes and satisfaction. This expansion supports a more robust and flexible response to fluctuating patient needs, ensuring that high-quality care is consistently available. Moreover, with additional ICU beds, the hospital can better accommodate specialized care for patients with complex and multifaceted conditions, facilitating multidisciplinary approaches and advanced therapeutic interventions. All donations to Tools of Care products goes toward the vital equipment the hospital needs in the highest priority order AND all of these tools are proudly used and needed in our Hospital.

When donating, any information entered in the billing address fields on the payment screen will be used to generate an automatic tax receipt. If a company name is added here, the tax receipt will be issued to the company.

If your donation is in honour of a friend or loved one, you can email them a digital e-card upon making a donation.

E-cards are available for donations made in memory and in celebration of someone, and each e-card allows you to customize the message being sent. In order to send an e-card, you will need to know the recipient's email address.

When you reach the completed payment screen, you will see the available e-card options, or you can click this link to send an e-card and message directly.

The Foundation will only notify individuals upon request. You can use the cart note function to provide a message and contact details for the recipient.
