Music changes everything
The awesome music project explores the transformative power of music through sharing stories. This event will celebrate the release of the book The Awesome Music Project: Songs of Hope and Happiness by authors Robert Carli and Terry Stuart. This beautifully illustrated hard cover book shows how the power of music helps through 111 individual stories.
This concert An Evening of Stories, Songs and Science showcased special guests sharing their stories of how music helped them during difficult times in their lives.
Thank you to everyone who supported An Evening of Stories, Songs and Science! You raised $84,000, allowing Grand River Hospital to add new music therapy for adults and youth over 18 in its mental health programs. Thank you for making this event a success and for bringing this important service to more patients.
I have given my whole life to writing, recording, and performing music, and I’m still fascinated by what it means to people. This is a wonderful read.
