Ron and Sylvia GRHF story Ron and Sylvia GRHF story

Meet Ron and Sylvia. Owners of Caudle's Catch Seafood Kitchener Superstore and proudly supporting GRH for 31 years so far.

Every customer that walks through the doors of Caudle’s Catch Seafood Kitchener Superstore is reminded that the business is a proud supporter Grand River Hospital.

Over thirty-one years, Ron and Sylvia Caudle have built a seafood empire in Waterloo Region while also supporting the community they love by fundraising and volunteering for Grand River Hospital Foundation (GRHF).

The Caudle’s Catch Seafood Golf Tournament celebrated its thirtieth anniversary this year raising $16,000 for our cancer centre. To date, this event has raised $200,000 GRH’s greatest needs and our cancer centre.

The tournament brought together a community that is like a family to the Caudles, a sentiment Ron proudly acknowledged when he spoke to a room full of loyal and long-time attendees. He credited their support along with the countless friends and partners who rally around the team all year long.

He also recognized his children, Michelle, Matt and Monica for the roles they have played as young professionals making time to give back to their community earlier in their careers.

Health care has changed since Ron and Sylvia came to Kitchener. In fact, GRH has grown into a hospital with 15 program areas including one of the best cancer centres in Ontario. It is because of champions like Ron and Sylvia, and businesses like Caudle’s Catch Seafood that GRH has an exceptionally bright future.
