Community collaborations have always been embraced by Four All Ice Cream, a Waterloo-based scoop shop offering handcrafted ice cream made from all-natural, locally-sourced ingredients to provide a better choice for ice cream lovers who want to indulge in a sweet treat without compromise to their well-being. And their collaboration and partnership with Grand River Hospital Foundation has made a significant impact on well-being in our community in more ways than one: Over the past two years, Four All Ice Cream has raised more than $6,000 for Mental Health, Cancer Care and the Blue Ribbon Fund at Grand River with their custom, limited time flavour, Our Heroes Eat Ice Cream.

The partnership between Grand River Hospital Foundation and Four All Ice Cream began early on during the pandemic—their handcrafted and locally sourced custom flavour, Our Heroes Eat Ice Cream, was created to honour the incredible efforts and hard work of frontline health care workers with proceeds directly supporting the hospital. This summer, Four All Ice Cream plans to bring back this special, limited time flavour to raise even more money in support of local health care.

With the invaluable help of our supporters and community partners, Grand River Hospital plays a critical role in both mental health and cancer care in our community—you help ensure access to new medical equipment, initiatives and innovations that allow patients to access more health services right here and elevate health care delivery and patient experience to serve our community in ways it hasn’t experienced before. Your support make it possible to go beyond good and help us make local health care great as we strive for our ultimate vision of a world class health system supporting healthier lives. All right here in Kitchener-Waterloo.

Thank you so much to Four All Ice Cream for their generous support and partnership, and stay tuned for the details of the upcoming re-release of Our Heroes Eat Ice Cream this summer.
