Leah Mackie and Jodie Lee, owners of The Curator's Shop, a full-service gifting platform for businesses and everyday celebrations here in Waterloo, organized a holiday gift package with 11 other local businesses to bring comfort to families in the region this holiday season.

"When we heard about Scotland's Yard and the need to enhance pediatric cancer care here in our community, we knew we wanted to provide our services and expertise to help in any way we could," said Leah.

Jodie said it was truly a team effort. "We have such a wonderful community—thank you to the local businesses who did not hesitate to join us and offer their beautiful items. 100% of the proceeds from these holiday gifts went directly to helping kids in Waterloo Region receive cancer treatment and follow-up care at Grand River Hospital."

Grand River Hospital also purchased gifts from The Curator's Shop for hospital staff, who loved the curated boxes and were so appreciative of the thought and effort that went into them.
