Partners with Paws is raising money for mental health service dogs by giving back to local health care workers. Founded by Jacqueline Gori, Partners with Paws helps people with psychiatric and mental health diagnoses by funding, training and partnering them with a service dog.
Their current fundraiser is a 175 page 9 x 12” coffee table book called ‘I Love Labs - The Cooperslane Legacy’ that features 50 stories about Labradors. You have the option to buy the book for yourself, or you can purchase a copy to have it donated to a local health care worker. All of the money raised will go to training service dogs through Partners with Paws.
On behalf of Partners with Paws, Jacqueline recently donated 50 copies of ‘I Love Labs - The Cooperslane Legacy’ to mental health workers who work with children and youth at Grand River Hospital as a way to brighten their day and thank them for the ongoing care they provide for the people in our community.
