Gliders for GAU/NBU

Choose an amount to donate

Gliders are essential in Neurobehavioral (NBU) and Geriatric Assessment (GAU) units at a hospital as they provide a safe and comfortable seating option for patients with mobility limitations or cognitive impairments. These specialized chairs offer gentle rocking motion, which can have calming effects on patients with behavioral or neurological conditions, reducing agitation and promoting relaxation. In geriatric assessment units, gliders offer ergonomic support and ease of movement for elderly patients, reducing the risk of falls and pressure ulcers. Additionally, gliders enhance the overall therapeutic environment by providing a comfortable and soothing seating option that supports the physical and emotional well-being of patients in NBU and GAU settings.
