There are lots of well-known ways supporters, like you, can give back to Grand River Hospital, like by donating to a specific cause or care area or becoming a monthly donor. You can enjoy attending events, or even run an event in the community that raises money for local care. Volunteering is another great way to support our Hospital, as are gifts-in-kind.

More unique to our Foundation, you can show your support — literally — by purchasing any of the items from our online store. From toques to hoodies and mugs to jibbitz (to let you rock your Crocs), all proceeds from these items support the care area they represent or help raise funds in support of the Hospital’s greatest needs. We even have our very own vending machine in the Emergency Department at the KW Campus to help address any last-minute needs our patients and visitors may have.

There are, however, other less obvious ways that people in our communities, just like you, show up in support of Grand River Hospital every single day. And, they may not even realize it.

Take parking, for example. Have you ever wondered where the proceeds from your visitor parking fees go? The answer is right back to supporting exceptional patient care at our Hospital.

By paying for visitor parking, you are helping give our team members the tools they need to meet the current and emerging healthcare needs in our communities. In other words, you’re not “just paying for a parking spot” — you’re helping ensure Care Never Stops, simply by parking at the Hospital.
