Sandra N., a Bradford resident and  Southlake Regional Health Centre supporter, won nearly $23,000 as one of 13 lucky winners in the June 21 Split the Pot grand prize draw.

A Canadian wheelchair athlete and cancer survivor will be traversing through 10 Southern Ontario communities in September to fundraise for Grand River Regional Cancer Centre

With Grand River Hospital Foundation as its lead sponsor, Split the Pot Lottery returns in support of 62 hospital partners, more than ever before!

Florida Panthers forward Steven Lorentz brought the trophy to Waterloo Region, starting at Grand River Hospital. 

Scotland's Yard at Grand River Hospital was one of 11 organizations that received a $25,000 grant from NHL Foundation U.S., Inc. (NHLF) in celebration of the Hockey Fights Cancer giving campaign's 25th anniversary.

Excitement and energy filled the air during the third annual Scotland's Yard Road Hockey Classic. 

"Even in the thick of my chemo, even recovering from surgeries, I tried to do something active every day," said Cyndy McLean.

Now, to mark the five year anniversary of her cancer treatment, she's fundraising for new chemo chairs at the Hospital. 

Megan Wigmore of Sault Area Hospital Foundation highlights how the Split the Pot Lottery is helping hospitals across the province.

In September, Cyndy McLean is embarking on a handcycling tour, 10x21: Cycling 4 Chemo Chairs, to raise funds for Grand River Regional Cancer Centre.
